Swing Tray Bucket Elevators
The Facet Swing Tray Bucket Elevator is designed to gently convey product horizontally, vertically and horizontally again in a Z-shape, without transfer points, meeting many material handling challenges. This configuration allows for the direct feed of product into a packing system and with its multiple inlet and outlet points enables product to be moved from one process to another without spillage or breakage. The modular design makes for a flexible system, which can be tailor-made for the application, delivering product exactly where needed.
Our swing tray bucket elevators are best-suited for indoor conditions and are capable of handling a wide variety of free-flowing products, which include grain, beans, cereals, nuts, snack foods, pasta, coffee, pet food and many more.
The swing tray elevator provides gentle handling of the product, which means that it can be conveyed in such a way as to reduce the chance of breakage or damage, normally caused to the product by transfer points and gravity chutes.
The swing tray elevator is available in three bucket width sizes for increased capacity (see below table) and are fitted with food-grade plastic buckets, which are suspended on two strands of roller chain. The buckets are designed in such a way as to prevent spillage at the feed point, with a positive tipping point at discharge and provide full access for cleaning on the return path.
The Z-shape configuration of a swing tray elevator has a small footprint, reducing floor space requirements and enabling a great deal of flexibility in the layout of the process/production facility.
