Net-weight fillers weigh the product before filling the bag: preferred for premium retail products where exact weight is critical. Gross-weight fillers weigh the bag plus product together: simpler and suitable for lower-value commodities. Bag closing options include stitching (for open-mouth woven and paper bags) and heat sealing (for lined and PE bags). The filled and closed bags are discharged onto a conveyor for transport to the palletiser or manual stacking area.
