Bulk bags (FIBCs: Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers) are 500 kg to 1 500 kg capacity woven polypropylene bags widely used for transport and storage of grain, seed, flour, and agricultural ingredients. Facet Engineering designs and supplies the complete handling systems around bulk bags: filling stations with net-weight or gross-weight scales and automatic spout connectors; discharge stations with bag-lifting frames, vibrating base plates, and dust-tight spout connections; and the conveying integration to move filled bags to storage or despatch. Both manual and semi-automated configurations are available depending on the required handling rate and available labour.
